What a fantastic weekend we’ve had at Crick Boat Show! This year marked our third year trading in the Craft Marquee, and once again we’ve come away feeling incredibly grateful, inspired, and supported.
Crick Boat Show is always a highlight in our calendar and the culmination of what is undoubtedly our busiest month of the year. Not only is it a wonderful opportunity for us to share our passion and creativity with fellow boaters, canal enthusiasts, loyal customers, and new faces alike, but also gives us the opportunity to spend some precious and valuable time with friends too.
This year we were proud to showcase Paul’s hand-painted canal art, alongside my macramé creations and our range of canal and eco-friendly Miniml cleaning refills. Seeing people connect with the work we love creating is something we never take for granted.
Whether you stopped by to browse, made a purchase, chatted with us about life afloat, or simply admired the craftsmanship, every interaction meant so much. The support we receive at Crick — and indeed throughout the year — truly keeps us going.
Running a small creative business takes passion, determination, and plenty of hard work behind the scenes, so your encouragement, kind words, and continued custom mean the world to us.
While Crick may mark the end of our busiest trading month, there’s certainly no slowing down just yet! We’ve returned home with several lovely orders to fulfil, keeping our hands busy and our workshop lively. Alongside that, Paul has some exciting painting commissions and projects underway, which we can’t wait to share with you soon.
To everyone who has supported us — whether at Crick Boat Show, through our website, at other trading events, or by following and sharing our journey — thank you. Your support allows us to continue doing what we love and bringing canal art, creativity, and sustainable living together.
Here’s to the next creative chapter — and to seeing many of you again soon.
With heartfelt thanks,
Paul and Natasha
