There’s something deeply satisfying about seeing old craftsmanship cared for properly.
Paul has been spending time lovingly tidying up and carrying out renovation work to a traditional boatman’s cabin aboard Tarporley, the Camden Canal & Narrowboat Association boat. Every hinge, panel and polished surface tells a story, and with patience and respect he’s helping preserve that history for years to come.
These cabins were built to be practical, beautiful and full of character — and it’s wonderful to see that heritage being looked after with such care.
